Worth weighing

5 to weigh
  • Check-in ends at 20:00 — Reception hours are 07:00–20:00, so late arrivals need to plan around them. Check-out is from 06:00 to 11:00.
  • Street and courtyard noise — A guest said the courtyard-facing view was gloomy and noisy, and that Via Nazionale itself is noisy.
  • Small bathrooms — One detailed review notes a small bathroom and a compact shower cubicle; the bedroom itself was a normal size.
  • Modest facilities — The offer is basic — vending machines, luggage storage and a TV lounge — and Facilities earned the lowest guest score at 7.0.
  • No pets allowed — The hotel's policies prohibit pets, so travellers with animals need to look elsewhere.

“Rooms were a decent size and air-conditioned, the bed had a noticeable bowl-like dip, and the restaurant was good. Breakfast came with a good coffee.”

7.8Verified guest

“I liked how compact the property was and the exceptionally nice staff from the first shift. Our room was well-maintained with a shower, exactly what we needed. The location is central, very close to the Colosseum, Roma Termini, Altare della Patria, Trevi Fountain and the city centre, along with many famous landmarks. Ristorante Esperia nearby serves halal meals.”

7.8Verified guest

“The place was fabulous, with outstandingly accommodating and super-friendly staff from the first shift — I loved the stay. The food was outstanding, with pastries and coffee at breakfast. The room was modest but a decent size, with a bed that had a bowl-like dip. The hotel is central, near two important metro stations and the main train station, and both Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps are an easy walk away.”

7.8Verified guest

“Excellent location on one of the main streets. Termini station is around a 20-minute walk with suitcases. The hotel has 10 rooms on the fourth floor of a residential building; you ring at the entrance and are let in. The entrance is clean, with a lovely old-fashioned lift that needs three doors closed, which adds charm. Our room overlooked the Cathedral of San Paolo, and every morning at 9 am its bell tower rang out. The room was not small, normal for two people, with ceilings of at least 4 metres, so plenty of volume. Bed and pillows were comfortable. There was an electric kettle, which you do not always get in a 3-star. Staff were attentive — always helping, explaining and drawing on a map of the city. I cannot comment on breakfast because we did not take it. Yes, the bathroom was small and the shower cubicle was small, but for someone used to a Khrushchevka it should not be a problem.”

7.8Verified guest

“The location is not bad if you end up with a courtyard-facing room. It is true that the courtyard view is gloomy and noisy; Via Nazionale is also a noisy street. Not far from Termini station, the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain — about 10 or 15 minutes on foot.”

7.8Verified guest

“Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. The staff were very pleasant, and the hotel combined attentive service with a quiet atmosphere.”
